For this blog I will be writing about Kevin Curry, who blogs about healthy eating, and while his blog isn’t tailored to the cooking of college students it can easily be applied!
Kevin Curry is a blogger who started his blog, “FitMenCook” in 2012. He posts recipes has created cookbooks that share his creative and healthy meals. He is based out of Dallas, Texas. He is completely self-taught. His passion and blogging began after a self-realization about his body weight. He felt embarrassed of how much he had let himself go and wanted to change his physical appearance as well as his physical health.
He is unique in the food community and the health industry because he emphasizes that healthy lives are based on what we consume, the kind of thinking that we are what we eat. Furthermore, he is one of the few men that began blogging about healthy diets and how to cook a healthy home made meal, no matter where you go.
He has even partnered with Homewood Suites by Hilton to provide meal plans and ideas for when you are traveling or on the go. What this means is even college students can follow his meal plans because most dorms have the same (if not more) access to a kitchen as most in-room kitchens at hotels!
