Overview of Campaign – PHA, Healthier Campus Initiative
While I discussed this campaign in my “In the News” blog post, I felt it was an initiative and campaign I could dive into for this post as well. The campaign supports and outlines ways for college campuses to encourage healthier lifestyles for students. The audience they are targeting is college students, while I would also argue they are targeting deans, presidents of colleges, or student body leaders, who would be capable to bring the initiative to their college. PHA and the Healthier Campus Initiative have been mentioned in various articles, they probably payed to have certain words such as: “college” “health” and “campaign” to bring their website to the top of a google search.
Duration of Campaign –
While the initiative isn’t set for a specific start and end date, PHA has an event they call “Healthy Campus Week” which they have held for 3 years, on September 24-30. The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness to what Partnership for a Healthier America aims to accomplish.
What I liked about the Campaign –
It is very simple to become familiar with the PHA campaigns and initiatives, the website layout is user-friendly and their message is understandable and easy to support and get behind.
